I hate losing. Losing is probably one of the most horrible feelings I can think of. It's even worse when you were winning and then you end up losing. You emotionally and mentally go through the highs of possibly winning to the lows of losing. It's a roller coaster of emotions. I guess that's what I love and hate about sports. I love to win but, I hate to lose. I'm not a sore loser, I just hate losing. Losing just lingers around for a bit and it sticks in your head for a while too. When you win, nothing else matters. You never think about what you did right or how you did it. You just know that you won and it just feels good. When you lose, it's a different story. You think about it and you replay in your mind about how you lost and what you could have done to win. It replays over and over and over again with the same result, you still lost. It's agonizing. I'd compare the feeling to dreaming for those who don't play sports or who are not competitive. When you are in the perfect dream you never want to wake up. You have this feeling of completeness and happiness. When you wake up, you can never remember what you were dreaming about and you can never re-enter the same dream. When you have a bad dream, you remember what you were dreaming about. You remember falling or being chased. A bad dream lingers and it's in your head for awhile. Hopefully I can get over this soon and start being myself again. I hate this feeling but, I know it happens to everybody. It's a part of sports and it's also apart of everyday life as we know it...
