3-D DVD...

Me and the girls watched Caroline on DVD last night. They have a 3-D copy of the film on one side accompanied with 4 pairs of 3-D glasses. The girls had already watched the regular version in the morning and they were too excited to watch the 3-D version. So we started the movie and we all put our 3-D glasses on to watch the movie. I was thinking that the entire movie was going to be in 3-D but, it wasn't. Only a few sequences in the movie were in 3-D. It was pretty neat but, only a small novelty. I was starting to get a headache from the 3-D glasses and I barely made it through the opening credits in 3-D. I must be getting old. Emma made it about half way through and Tatum almost made it through the entire movie without taking off the glasses.

The movie was pretty good over all. A good lesson to be learned for my girls. A little bit on the dark side but, that's expected from Tim Burton. The girls never thought that the movie was scary at all. They always find the funny parts totally hilarious and the scary parts just so-so. It's almost as if they really don't know how to be scared. It's amazing what Tim Burton does in all of his movies. I kept on thinking about how he is able to get the motion of everything to flow perfectly in this movie. I guess that's just the geek in me...
Tatum and Emma chillin out in 3-D...
