I was listening to the radio the other day and they were promoting this new show about 80's ballads. As soon as I heard this, I knew that I would definitely have to take Julie, since she is a die hard 80's rock fan. We managed to convince a few more people to join us that night and they sure were glad they decided to join us. The show is called "Power Balladz". It was a great show overall. I really didn't know what to expect at first. I thought that it might just be a cover band type of deal but, it was so much more. They covered most of the great 80's rock ballads but, they also add a comedy element to the act. They have little side stories they act out, they creatively use the projector to add to the fun, and they even make an interesting attempt at showing how the Scorpions single handedly brought down the Berlin Wall. There is even a t-shirt cannon and someone probably has some unforgettable video footage out there somewhere. We all had a blast and some of us may even go back to see it again.
