Pizza..Punch...Pizza...

At work the other day, we went out for lunch at Punch Pizza on Grand Avenue. It was quite interesting. After looking at the menu all morning, I was still undecided on what I was going to order. I grew up on Pizza Hut pizza and so that is my idea of what pizza is. I've heard many great things about this place and was ready to see what their idea of pizza taste like. They have hand made dough and a long list of simple ingredients. The pizzas only take about 90 seconds to cook in their 800 degree wood burning pizza oven. I was looking for something with meat or something spicy. I settled with the VESUVIO. It has spiced salami, saracene olive,
cracked red pepper, pepperoncini, and basil. I also added sausage for a little extra meat. The pizza comes out nice and hot. It was very tasty. The dough was soft, but not chewy. The ingredients were interesting but, was a delicious combination. I would definitely go back whenever I'm in the mood for a quick pizza.
