Something Peter...: Sorta Memorial...

Well, we had a three day weekend for Memorial Day and it was a blast. We finally had some decent weather so, we bought some assorted outdoor play things for the girls and we decided to do some grilling. I made some home made burgers for the grill and boiled up some beer brats. It was something that just hits the spot when you are chowing down outside. It's not something you have to pull out the spoons and forks out for and it's something that's better than some plain old sandwiches. The girls played some jump rope, drew with some sidewalk chalk, and blew some bubbles. We also sorta celebrated Marchell's birthday again with an awesome ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. My favorite uncle stopped into town from Omaha on Saturday night and the kids had a few little friends to play with. We worked on the house all Sunday. Yay! I finally got the front screen door on the house. We ate some killer steaks, potatoes, and asparagus from the grill that night. Monday, we went to the Hmong Flea market. It's was insane there with three crazy kids and a ton of Hmong people. We picked up a really late lunch and headed home to munch out. My uncle left town and we all had a good nights sleep from the busy weekend. All in all it was a nice relaxing extended weekend with some serious work mixed in the middle...
