Small phone issue...Sorta

So I noticed a few weeks ago that an application that I had installed on my phone wasn't working at all. I didn't really care since it was just my light saber application on my phone. It's nice when I want to wave my phone around and battle some iPhone geeks but, not a necessity in my life. On Friday, I decided that I wanted to start blogging and take pictures and videos from my phone. Then I noticed that the SD card in my phone wasn't being recognized at all. So after some Internet searching, I came to the conclusion that I would need to hard reset my phone. Basically erase everything off and start with a clean slate. I would just need to backup my data and perform the hard reset. When I was searching on how to hard reset my phone, I stumbled on to a link that showed my phone's interface customized. That's all it took and then I was off. I had to have my phone customized like this. I had already backed up my data and hard reset my phone but, I couldn't leave my phone boring. No, I had to have it customized and so I entered the world of custom ROMs, promising quicker response, longer battery life, and custom applications. I spent the rest of the day unlocking my phone and then flashing it with different ROMs and that was just the beginning. I then entered the world of custom applications. I worked and worked and finally this morning at 2:30, I was able to get a ROM to my liking, GPS navigation software with custom voices, some games, some useless fun applications, and a few movies(Benjamin Button, Watchmen) to watch on the plane ride to Florida. I even got a new and improved light saber application along with an xray application. This totally sucked the life out of my weekend. I was supposed to be packing for my vacation but, I convinced myself that I needed GPS on my phone for the trip and a few extra useful things that would be useful. So needless to say, I'll be packing tonight.
