I finally did it. I bought a new camera. Now you all won't have to suffer through any more pictures horribly pixelated due to poor lighting. Videos that look like they were taken from a toy camera. I went ahead and bought the Sony DSC-H20. I know I had posted something before about deciding between another Sony camera and a Canon but, I went ahead with this one because the nice zoom lens and the ability to use the optical zoom while shooting video in 720P at 30 FPS. I was contemplating about waiting for the Canon G11 coming out in October or November but, I just couldn't wait any longer. This camera provides the best picture out of the box and is fairly simple to operate. It's not the most compact camera but, I'll take the quality over the ability to fit in my pocket any day. I just might have to start carrying around a man bag...
